Reliance 310CRK manual generator transfer switch kit

Manual Transfer Switches

Manual Transfer Switches

A manual transfer switch connects a portable generator to selected circuits in your home. During an outage you plug the generator into the inlet, start it, and flip each circuit from Line to Gen by hand. It is the most affordable code-compliant way to back up your furnace, well pump, fridge, and lights, and it prevents dangerous backfeed to the utility line.

What we carry

  • Reliance Controls Pro/Tran indoor and outdoor switches from 20A to 50A with 6 or 10 circuits, plus pre-wired kits.
  • Nature's Generator 12-circuit 30A and 50A switches.
  • Furnace transfer switches (15A and 20A) for running a furnace on a generator.

What size do you need?

Match the switch to your generator's largest outlet: 30A (L14-30) or 50A (14-50 or CS6365). Then pick enough circuits for your essentials. Want hands-free switching instead? See automatic transfer switches, or browse all transfer switches. Questions? Call 888-855-7286.
