Best RV Parks in Sedona, AZ

Sedona has fewer RV parks than its fame suggests, so it pays to book early. Only a handful of commercial parks operate in the area: one in town on Oak Creek, and the rest about 15 minutes south around Page Springs. Up Oak Creek Canyon on SR 89A toward Flagstaff, Forest Service campgrounds offer creekside sites with few or no hookups, a 7-day stay limit and a season that runs roughly mid-April to late October. Spring and fall are the peak months for red-rock hiking. Summer gets hot in town, but the creek pulls in swimmers and trout anglers.

Rancho Sedona RV Park

A year-round park beside Oak Creek in the heart of Sedona, shaded by big sycamores and cottonwoods and taking rigs up to 45 feet. Shops and restaurants are a quarter-mile walk away, there is trout fishing and summer creek swimming on site, and campfires are not allowed.

Address: 135 Bear Wallow Ln, Sedona, AZ 86336

Lo Lo Mai Springs

An RV, tent and cabin campground along three-quarters of a mile of Oak Creek at Page Springs, with shaded RV sites under old cottonwoods and sycamores. Motorhomes up to 40 feet and trailers or fifth wheels up to 36 feet fit, but Wi-Fi reaches only the office and clubhouse and cell service is very limited.

Pine Flat Campground

A Coconino National Forest campground of 59 sites under ponderosa pines in upper Oak Creek Canyon, about 12 miles north of Sedona near Slide Rock State Park. Most sites have no hookups and there are no showers, stays top out at 7 days, and it is open only mid-April to late October.

Page Springs Resort

A creekside RV park at 3,850 feet on Oak Creek near Page Springs, set among old cottonwoods and natural artesian streams about 15 minutes from Sedona. It books short and long-term RV stays and offers creek swimming and fishing, hiking, a picnic area, laundry and showers.

Cave Springs Campground

A Coconino National Forest campground in the wooded upper reaches of Oak Creek Canyon off SR 89A, with sites for RVs, trailers and tents that can be reserved ahead. Like the other canyon campgrounds, it is seasonal and has no hookups, so come prepared to run on your own power.

Dry camping in Oak Creek Canyon?

The canyon campgrounds above Sedona have few or no hookups, and at Pine Flat generators have to stay off from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. A portable power station runs silently through those hours for lights, fans, phones or a CPAP, and a solar panel set out in a sunny clearing can recharge it while you are out on the trails.
