Best RV Parks in Phoenix, AZ

Phoenix is a winter town for RVers. From roughly October through April the days are dry and mild, and the city fills with spring training fans, golfers and people in for big Scottsdale events like the Barrett-Jackson auction and the WM Phoenix Open. Summer flips the script, with highs that routinely pass 110 degrees, and many parks lean toward long-term residents until the heat breaks. A good share of the city's larger parks sit together in Deer Valley along I-17, which puts downtown, Scottsdale and Lake Pleasant all within an easy drive. Out in the West Valley, the 55+ golf resorts take over.

Desert Shadows RV Resort

Spending a night past the pedestal?

Full hookups make Phoenix easy, but the desert around it is where a lot of RVers end up spending their days: a trailhead at dawn, a spring training doubleheader, a night of dry camping on the way north. A portable power station keeps the fridge cold and the fans turning when you are away from a hookup, and it recharges quietly from solar panels in all that Arizona sun.
