Best RV Parks in Pensacola, FL

Pensacola's RV scene splits between the sand and the interstate. Beach and barrier-island parks sit on Pensacola Beach, out on Santa Rosa Island, and on Perdido Key near Johnson Beach and the rest of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The quieter inland parks gather along I-10, especially near the Pine Forest Road exits on the northwest side. Naval Air Station Pensacola is home base for the Blue Angels, and show weekends, Mardi Gras, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are the busiest dates. Mild Gulf winters bring snowbirds on monthly stays, while summer is steamy and lands right in the middle of hurricane season.

Pensacola Beach RV Resort

The one park here on Pensacola Beach itself, with large-rig sites on 30 and 50-amp full hookups and direct access to Santa Rosa Sound. It adds a heated pool, clubhouse, laundry and an on-site tiki bar, and it rents Tiki Trailers, cabins and a bungalow.

Address: 17 Via De Luna Dr, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561

Five Flags RV Park

A family-owned 12-acre park less than a minute from I-10 with 77 oversized gravel sites, each on 30/50-amp full hookups with a concrete patio and its own palm tree, including 80 to 90-foot back-ins. There is no bathhouse, so rigs must be fully self-contained.

Ready for a Gulf storm outage?

Pensacola sits squarely in the Gulf's hurricane belt, and even a passing summer storm can leave a park without power for a while. A portable power station keeps the fridge cold, a fan turning and phones charged until the lines come back, and on calm days it rides along to the beach or the boat. Pair it with a solar panel and it can refill itself.
