It's NEM 3.0 ready with built-in time-of-use settings, and the LCD touchscreen on the inverter lets you shape storage, grid usage, day-of-week behaviour and seasonality around your utility's rates. It's virtual power plant ready too, so you can take part in grid programmes where they're offered.
The DC-to-DC architecture matters more than it sounds. Keeping power in DC instead of converting back and forth means less is lost along the way, so the same kWh of battery simply goes further.
