And it holds that standard continuously. The Sol-Ark Premium 18K-2P delivers its full 18kW directly from battery storage, which means an outage doesn't halve your home's capacity. What you run on the grid, you run off it.
The rest of the platform is built to the same brief.
200A grid pass-through puts the inverter in front of your entire service, with an automatic 5ms transfer — nothing needs switching off and nothing flickers. A 350A battery charger refills large banks quickly across two 48V battery ports, working with anything from 50Ah to 9,900Ah.
On the solar side, three full-sized MPPTs take 36A each across six DC ports, and Sol-Ark rates the platform at over 40kW of solar once AC coupling is in play. That's real headroom if you're oversizing an array or folding in panels you already own.
It's IP65 / NEMA 3R rated and operates from -40°C up to 60°C, so where you mount it stays your choice rather than a constraint. With UL1741 3rd SB, IEEE1547-2018, CSA and Hawaiian Electric SRD approvals behind it and a 10-year warranty as standard, it's built to be signed off and then left alone.
