APsmart RSD-D Module Brings Rapid Shutdown to Envy Systems
Fortress Power Envy inverters have an APsmart rapid shutdown transmitter built in. The APsmart RSD-D is the matching module-level receiver: a dual-input unit that sits behind your solar panels and listens for the transmitter's heartbeat signal. When the signal stops, because the RSD button is pressed or power is lost, the RSD-D shuts the panels down to meet NEC 2017 and 2020 690.12 rapid shutdown rules.
