The Victron Energy 12.8V/330Ah LiFePO4 Battery NG is a high-capacity, Next Generation (NG) model designed for reliable, high-performance energy storage. This battery is used in a wide range of applications, including off-grid solar systems, marine and automotive use, and backup power.

Features and functionality
  • Requires external Battery Management System (BMS): The NG series batteries must be connected to an external Victron BMS, such as a  Lynx Smart BMS NG . The BMS is necessary to balance and monitor cells and protect the battery from over-voltage, under-voltage, and temperature issues.
  • Monitoring capabilities: The battery has integrated cell voltage and temperature monitoring. This data is communicated to a compatible Victron BMS and can be viewed via the VictronConnect app.
  • High efficiency: The battery has a round-trip efficiency of 92%, resulting in minimal energy loss.
  • Scalable: Multiple NG batteries can be connected in series and/or parallel to create larger battery banks. A single system can incorporate up to 50 batteries, reaching a maximum energy storage of 192 kWh.
  • Robust and durable: LiFePO4 technology offers a long cycle life and is more rugged and stable than other lithium chemistries. It tolerates a wider operating temperature range and does not need to be fully charged regularly to preserve its lifespan.
  • Low self-discharge: The self-discharge rate is very low, up to 2% per month, allowing for longer storage without significant capacity loss.
