  • Requires external BMS: To protect the battery and manage the charging and discharging process, this unit must be connected to one of several compatible external Victron BMS options. Available BMS solutions include the VE.Bus BMS, smallBMS, Smart BMS 12/200, and Lynx Smart BMS, each designed for different types of applications.
  • Long-term reliability: Unlike lead-acid batteries, this LiFePO4 battery does not need to be fully charged to prevent sulfation, improving its service life in applications where it is frequently partially charged.
  • Space and weight savings: The battery is up to 70% lighter and smaller than a comparable lead-acid battery, making it suitable for installations with space or weight constraints, such as marine and mobile systems.
