The SimpliPhi Battery Cabinet 12, also known as the BOSS.12, is a weather-resistant enclosure for housing and wiring up to twelve SimpliPhi PHI-3.8-M batteries for energy storage systems. The included 8' 4/0 cables connect the cabinet's internal busbars to a compatible inverter. 
Specifications for the  SimpliPhi BOSS.12 cabinet
  • Capacity: Houses up to twelve 3.8 kWh PHI batteries for a total potential system capacity of 45.6 kWh.
  • Enclosure: NEMA 3R-rated carbon-steel for indoor or outdoor installation.
  • Dimensions (W x H x D): 29.5" x 76" x 20".
  • Built-in DC connections: Two 5-point terminal busbars with 3/8" lugs, rated for 650 ADC.
  • Cabling: Comes with 8' 4/0 battery-to-inverter cables. This is for connecting the cabinet to your inverter.
  • Wiring: Batteries are wired in parallel to the included busbars. Interconnecting busbars for paralleling the batteries inside the cabinet must be purchased separately.
  • Warranty: The enclosure has a 2-year warranty.

  • Type: Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP).
  • Capacity: 3.8 kWh @ 100% depth of discharge (DOD).
  • Nominal voltage: Available in 24V or 48V models, depending on the system requirements.
  • Performance: Offers over 10,000 charge cycles at 80% DOD.
  • Safety: The LFP chemistry does not require ventilation, cooling, or thermal regulation, reducing the risk of thermal runaway.
  • BMS: A built-in battery management system (BMS) provides an accessible DC breaker for overcurrent protection.
