The Fronius Primo GEN24 5.0kW is a single-phase, hybrid-ready solar inverter designed for residential use. A standard GEN24 model can be upgraded later with a software activation to enable battery storage, turning it into a GEN24 Plus.

    • PV Point: A basic backup power function is built-in, providing up to 3kW of emergency power to a single socket during daylight hours in a grid outage.
    • Full backup: With a battery and an external transfer switch, the GEN24 Plus can provide comprehensive backup power to the entire home, even at night.
  • Hybrid readiness: The standard GEN24 can be upgraded to the GEN24 Plus at a later date, allowing for the easy addition of a battery storage system without replacing the entire inverter. It is compatible with high-voltage batteries from brands like BYD.
  • High efficiency: The GEN24 series features a maximum efficiency of 97.6%.
  • Advanced cooling: Active cooling technology (using a fan) prolongs the inverter's service life, ensures optimal performance in hot climates, and increases energy yields.
  • Durable design: With an IP66 rating, the inverter is robust and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
  • Dual MPPT: Two independent Maximum Power Point Trackers allow for maximum energy harvesting from solar panels, even if they are on different roof angles or are subject to partial shading.
