The Fortress Power 12kW Envy Hybrid Inverter is an all-in-one residential and light commercial solar energy solution. It combines a 12 kW hybrid inverter, battery charger, and system monitor into a single, weather-resistant unit designed for both on-grid and off-grid applications. 
Key features
  • Whole-home backup power: Provides up to 12 kW (50A @ 240V) of continuous backup power and includes a 200A AC pass-through to handle whole-home loads during an outage.
  • High PV input capacity: Includes three Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) inputs to support a maximum solar array size of up to 21 kW.
  • Flexible coupling: Supports AC, DC, and combined AC/DC coupling, making it suitable for both new installations and retrofits.
  • Scalability: Up to 10 units can be connected in parallel, expanding the system's output to as much as 120 kW for larger properties.
  • Generator input: Features a built-in auto-start generator port with a 90A continuous current rating for additional power sources.
  • Utility programs: Ready for participation in Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs, net metering, peak shaving, and time-of-use rate optimization.
  • Monitoring and controls: Includes a color LCD touchscreen and offers remote monitoring and control via a mobile app.
