EG4 Mini-Split Line Set Extension | 9k/12k AC | 24k AC/DC

EG4€™s Line Set Extension Kit provides an additional 16.4 (5m) of lines for your EG4 mini-split air conditioner. This line set is useful when one needs more distance than the mini-split€™s included 16.4 ft. (5m) of lines can provide. The line sets included in this kit and with the EG4 mini-splits are pre-vacuumed and have Plug-N-Cool connectors. The kit also includes a set of connectors to combine the Plug-N-Cool line sets together without requiring the services of an HVAC technician.*

*3 percent loss of efficiency without the addition of refrigerant

Installing a line set extension adds volume to the system which may lead to an approximate 3% loss in efficiency per additional line set. To compensate for the added volume, a licensed HVAC technician can add refrigerant (.2 oz./ft.) to the system.

The line sets included in this kit and with the EG4 mini-splits are pre-vacuumed and have Plug-N-Cool connectors.

The line set extensions should be installed during the initial installation of the indoor and outdoor units. This line set extension kit is not intended to extend the line sets of a system that has already released refrigerant into the system by opening the refrigerant valves on the outdoor unit.
