It uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cell chemistry, which is valued for its safety, efficiency, and long lifespan. The modular design allows for flexible capacity expansion by connecting multiple units.

Scalable and modular design: The B2 Series can be expanded to increase capacity by paralleling multiple stacks. One inverter can accommodate up to four stacks, for a total of 87.6 kWh.
 Integrated Battery Management System (BMS): The system includes a BMS Control Module (model BC2-HV-BN) that monitors performance, manages charging, and includes safety features like thermal management and overcharge protection.
Indoor/Outdoor rated: With an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, the battery is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, as it is protected from dust and water jets.
Compatibility: The B2 Series is UL9450 certified for use with Discover's H2 inverters. This allows for advanced integration and monitoring via the company's energy management app.
