The Victron MultiPlus is an advanced power solution that combines a true sine wave inverter and charger into a single compact unit. With hybrid PowerAssist technology and adaptive charging, it ensures energy efficiency and seamless system integration. A key feature of the MultiPlus is its PowerAssist technology, which prevents overloads on limited AC power sources like generators or shore connections. It achieves this by moderating battery charging and supplementing the output with energy from the battery when necessary. Additionally, the MultiPlus ensures uninterrupted AC power, switching to its internal inverter within 20 milliseconds during power outages to keep devices running smoothly.
The MultiPlus also supports parallel operation, enabling up to six units to work together for greater power output. Select models allow for three-phase and split-phase configurations, expanding its scalability for larger systems. Paired with a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX), users gain global remote monitoring and control through the VRM app or portal, offering features like system monitoring, settings adjustments, and automatic generator starts. Unique Power Assist Feature
The MultiPlus protects against overloads from limited AC power sources, such as generators or shore connections. It does this by first automatically reducing battery charging. If an overload continues to occur, the unit compensates by boosting the output from the generator or shore connection using energy drawn from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC Power
When power from the shore, grid, or generator is cut off, the MultiPlus' internal inverter engages within 20 milliseconds, ensuring that connected devices remain operational without interruption.
Parallel Operation
Up to six units of the MultiPlus can be used in parallel to provide increased power output. Select models support both three-phase and split-phase operation; please refer to the datasheets for confirmation.
Remote Monitoring and ControlÂ
When connected to a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, you can access, monitor, and control your Multi and related systems using the free VRM app and the VRM portal website. This access is available from anywhere in the world and is compatible with various devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and PCs, across multiple operating systems. You can easily adjust your Multi settings or even automatically start a backup generator, among many other features.
